This Course will:

  • Provide a practical and hands-on way to understand the theory and practice around 'how to develop and maintain a risk management system' for any type of organization. The risk management system is based on the principles around ISO 31000: 2018 - Risk Management - Guidelines.

  • Help you to understand the key dimensions of performing a risk assessment, using well-accepted frameworks and best practice models. The examples provided throughout the training are designed to provide learners with the confidence to perform risk assessments, along with practical tools that can be implemented straight away.

  • Help learners manage business risks (ie health, safety, environmental, cyber-security) more efficiently and effectively, by adopting a management systems-based approach and thinking towards the identification and evaluation of risks, and the implementation of controls.

My role as a risk assessor, consultant and trainer provides the opportunity to assist organisations thrive in a dynamic business and regulatory landscape. The nature of the role involves interacting with a range of multi- disciplinary people and continually learning. I endeavour to make a difference by listening to and understanding the client’s requirements. Therefore working empathetically, collaboratively and respectfully are also some of the critical elements in achieving successful outcomes. All of this gives me immense satisfaction whilst assisting organisations deliver value to it’s stakeholders. As the Managing Director of a risk management and compliance training and consulting organisation (E-Risk360), the focus is on providing integrated risk management consulting, auditing, and training solutions. I have a science, technology and business background and am registered with Exemplar Global as a Lead Auditor in Management Systems including Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001: 2015), Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001: 2015) and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems (ISO 45001), further to this, I have knowledge and experience in the Risk Management Standard (ISO 31000). I have worked across various organisations and industries at both the State and National levels of the Australian Government and the full suite of organisations from the start-ups to the small, medium and large private and publicly listed organisations.

Yvette Salvaris is one of the directors and owners of Ethical Training Solutions, an education and training company. Ethical Training Solutions was built on a strong foundation of ethics and a passion of helping people be the best they can be. Yvette has over 20 years experience in the education industry as a teacher, mentor, manager, and trainer. She has taught both children and adults with her youngest student being 2 years old and her oldest being 75 years old. Yvette is a firm believer that education can change your life no matter how old you are. Running a company keeps Yvette very busy, when she is not doing her thing, she loves to spend her free time traveling and learning new things.
